MBA Internships

If you're a current MBA student or recent graduate, Good Morning Africa (GMA) may have an opening for you in our Summer 2007 Program.

GMA is conducting a nationwide search this Fall, and we may be coming to your city or school. Click here for specific dates and cities.

We are looking for Top MBA students to work with our entrepreneurs, on the ground and in their companies. This internship is perfect for those students who are interested in gaining international field experience, are ready to take on a challenging internship, and would like to make their mark on the world by helping to end poverty in Africa.

We will work to match your skill set with one of our entrepreneurs if you have substantial experience in one the following fields:

Internships are for a minimum duration of 10 weeks, and assignments for Summer 2007 are currently being procured for our test site in Ghana, West Africa.

The summer period for North American students is usually the best time to travel and work in Africa because the seasons are in reverse for most parts of the continent. Some consideration will be given for students wishing to take a Fall or Spring semester away from their program, but at the present time the number of these positions are limited.

Good Morning Africa will provide each intern with a preliminary briefing on his/her country assignment. The hosting client will also provide safe and secure accommodations within country at no charge to each intern. Travel and meal costs will be the responsibility of the student; however, some merit and need based scholarship money may be available to help offset any financial constraint.
